Annamalai is an industry veteran in the Scrap and Metallic waste landscape with extensive experience of more than 33 years in the field. A gold medalist in Mechanical Engineering, Anna started his professional journey with Arumugam Annamalai Industries, a manufacturer of automotive components which paved the way to start his first venture as a founder of Sri Raghavendra Industries, an automotive parts manufacturing firm which turned out to be a mega success story generating employment for more than 3000 workers. Later on in 2006, he moved to Germany and partnered with major scrap recycling companies like the Alba group, TSR group and HJH group, supplying them with high quality foundry scrap from automobile players like BMW and Volkswagen. The reach of his network spans across Europe, Central America, South America and Asia with strong regional partners committed to long term business relations.

Through his vast experience Anna truly understands the pain points of this industry and envisioned to solve these while adding tremendous value to the supply chain, through his company AUM. His long standing relations and contacts in the sector give him the distinct advantage of having a network of suppliers across Europe and South America who produce unique quality high grade scrap. At AUM, these goods are then carefully identified, segregated and calibrated to fit the exact requirements of its customers. This value addition not only guarantees highest quality material but has also saved significant associated costs for our clients. AUM successfully concluded its first vessel of 23000 MT of scrap in July 2021 from South America to India is now well poised to expand its business further in the near future.

The aim of it is to connect buyers with suppliers and provide them real-time access to scrap availability, technical specifications and other relevant details.
